I wonder if he's someone we've met? Doc Jensen speculates that it's Caesar, from Flight 316, but that doesn't make much sense to me, since he's clearly not Caucasian...

I hope Daniel isn't MIA for too long, and that Hurley gets to meet him soon; he's the only major character who hasn't come into contact with Hurley yet. Hurley has a knack for making people feel better; maybe he can work his magic on Daniel.

I still wish I knew what was up with Rose, Bernard and Vincent. And I'll be very annoyed if they don't pop up again by the end of the season...Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07191855305749074736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5425718396565573656.post-51143789865581805372009-03-09T16:20:00.000-07:002009-03-09T16:20:00.000-07:00Yes, I thought the three years passing on the isla...Yes, I thought the three years passing on the island provided a terrific way to give Jin a chance to improve his English!

Still worried about Daniel though. I agree he must be at the Orchid -- but three years is a long time for him to be fixating on Charlotte and the whole "can I/should I change the past" thing. I also wonder why, if he was a time traveler before all this started (and it seemed like he might be) why he's stuck in this groove along with the others. Does he know a way out of it perhaps?

I remember Horace from the dream scene and assumed that he'd been in several more episodes. Now I know I've just got to figure out the major Ben episode and either read it recap and/or get it from Netflix and watch it!

Do you think Juliet's safely delivering a baby might have altered anything? I mean, it seems possible that Amy (I think that's her name) is living a very altered storyline, if Sawyer and company saved her life. (Otherwise she wouldn't ever have survived to marry Horace or have this baby...could the baby turn out to be someone very important to the island?) Could Juliet have somehow broken (before it started!? argh!) the island "jinx" about babies?

Brain hurting...so confused!

John Denver would be great. I'm also REALLY wanting to hear Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle." It would be too cool.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08589856495993730380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5425718396565573656.post-14313667823117472392009-03-05T20:46:00.000-08:002009-03-05T20:46:00.000-08:00I know, I'm excited about the potential for record...I know, I'm excited about the potential for records being played in this time period - I'm really gunning for John Denver with all these 70s peaceniks...

The big one with Ben is pretty much the only one with Horace; his only other appearance was in a dream to Locke last season. What I'm most curious about with him at the moment, I think, is what happened to his wife...

I think Daniel's hanging around the Orchid right now - maybe trying to figure out if he can change the future so Charlotte can survive? But the poor guy can't be in very good shape right now. Maybe at least having some kind of direction will help him out.

I'm really loving Sawyer right now, and how nicely he's taken to such a calm, domestic lifestyle. He and Juliet make a great couple - and I'm happy for her that she got to deliver a baby successfully after so many painful disappointments. It's also nice that he and Jin can have real conversations now!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07191855305749074736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5425718396565573656.post-60148690632474391252009-03-05T18:59:00.000-08:002009-03-05T18:59:00.000-08:00I thought this was a very interesting episode. A l...I thought this was a very interesting episode. A lot quieter and less action packed than the past couple of weeks, but still surprising and intense. I hadn't considered that they might have gotten stuck in the Dharma era -- fascinating!

Even more fascinating that Sawyer seems oddly at home there and at relative peace after three years. I agree that he and Juliette seem genuinely happy and good for each other, and I wish things didn't have to get messy (as they're bound to) with Kate, Jack, et al returning.

I need to see some of the back episodes I missed, including some about Horace (and of course the big one with Ben's childhood). Dana has filled me in a bit on that one, but he didn't see all of it himself. At the very least, I should probably head over to Lostpedia and catch up on both characters.

I thought Daniel's scene was very moving too -- I made a comment about the excellent acting right afterwards. He's worrying me a bit (and where did he go?). I also wonder how seriously Sawyer and Juliette might have altered things in the past. But will it matter if they're really all stuck in this particular groove of the record forever?

The record imagery is great, especially given the fact that they're stuck in the 70s...Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08589856495993730380noreply@blogger.com
